Calgary, AB – Dave Yuris* scored a hat-trick as the Warthogs extended its winning streak to three games with a 8-5 conquest over the NorthStars at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Warthogs was Pat Shippit* and Chad Dauphenais*, Jarrod Stanton*, Jordan Thornley and Jesse Nickel contributing with a goal each. Eermel Brody added four assists, Shippit*, Stu Mckenzie* and Matt Field each added two assists. Goaltender Shaun McKenzie* picked up the win for the Warthogs giving up five goals.

Sniping for the NorthStars was Jeremy Stagman with two goals and Kevin Macedo*, Jay Milz* and Scott Drummond each tallying single markers. Stagman and Ryan Campbell* each added two assists. Goaltender Colby Stagman* surrendered eight goals in the loss for the NorthStars.

With the win, the Warthogs improve to 8-3-2-0 while the NorthStars fall to 2-10-2-0.
