Calgary, AB – Brandan Kushniruk* scored a hat-trick and added two assists to help secure the Calgary Hogs a victory in an 11-2 trouncing over the Grasshoppers at Norma Bush on Tuesday.

Adding markers for the Calgary Hogs was Blaine Dobinson* and Ryan Grant* with a pair of goals each and Dean Pylypchuk*, Scott Lindsay*, Nolan Weir* and Wade Hein each contributing with single markers. Ashley Raabis* added four assists, Grant*, Dobinson*, Lindsay*, Pylypchuk*, Kevin Free*. Goaltender Wes Raabis picked up the victory for the Calgary Hogs giving up two goals.

Providing the offence for the Grasshoppers was Jeff Metzger* and Colin Hughes* with a goal each. Goaltender Trevor Devenich* surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the Grasshoppers.

With the victory, the Calgary Hogs improve to 9-0-1-0 while the Grasshoppers fall to 1-8-1-0.
