Calgary, AB – Bil Schwalm* scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Warthogs to a 7-5 triumph over the Sofa Kings at Frank McCool on Friday.

Completing the scoring for for the Warthogs was Dave Pawlik* and Ladde Tanner* with a pair of goals each and Drew Byers* with a single marker. Byers* added three assists and Mike McClay* added two assists. Goaltender Jason Molloy picked up the victory for the Warthogs giving up 0 goals.

The win snapped the Warthogs' three-game losing skid.

Finding the twine for the Sofa Kings was Kevin Sawyer* with two goals and James Kenny*, Darrin Andrews* and Rob Johnston* chipping in with singles. Colin Oke* and Cory Seaman* each added two assists. Goaltender David Casey surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Sofa Kings.

With the victory, the Warthogs improve to 2-3-0-0 while the Sofa Kings fall to 3-2-0-0.
