Calgary, AB – Mike Taylor* scored a hat-trick to help support the Da Byes in an 8-6 victory over the Sleeman Brewers at Frank McCool on Friday.

Adding markers for the Da Byes was Ross Dance* with two goals, Geoff Moggy and Jason Brown* and Justin Furlong* each with single strikes. Glenn Saunders*, Kevin Draper* and Jonny Kanceruk each added two assists. Goaltender Brent Williams* picked up the victory for the Da Byes giving up six goals.

Providing the offence for the Sleeman Brewers was Dave Chubb with a hat-trick and Rick Schiller*, Peter Dmytruk* and Mark Cadotte with a goal each. Mike Smilsky added three assists, Chubb and Schiller* each added two assists. Goaltender Jon MacMillan surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Sleeman Brewers.

With the victory, the Da Byes improve to 7-1-1-0 while the Sleeman Brewers fall to 1-6-1-0.
