Calgary, AB – Dan Rach* scored his first goal of the playoffs with 4:54 remaining in the third period and Chris Bann* scored two goals as the Devils erased a three-goal deficit and extended their winning streak to four games with a 4-3 triumph over the Hopewell Hurricanes at Max Bell #2 on Friday.

Completing the scoring for for the Devils was Marcus Hoover* with a single marker. Goaltender Jim Barath* picked up the victory for the Devils giving up 0 goals.

Finding the twine for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Andy Keats*, Ross Keily* and Geza Nemeth* each tallying single markers. Steve Nemeth* added two assists. Goaltender Dave Garcia* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Hopewell Hurricanes.

The Hopewell Hurricanes jumped out to a 3-0 lead when Nemeth* scored his first of the playoffs with 0:21 left in the first period but Hoover* responded for the Devils with his sixth of the playoffs to start the rally.

With the victory, the Devils improve to 4-1-0-0 while the Hopewell Hurricanes fall to 2-1-0-0.
