Calgary, AB – Scott Drummond scored two goals and added an assist to help secure the NorthStars a victory in an 8-3 trouncing over the Mustangs at Henry Viney on Wednesday.

Adding markers for the NorthStars was Jeremy Stagman* with two goals and Ryan Young*, Chris Wilkins*, Mike Anderson* and Sean Waeyen* with a goal each. Ryan Campbell* added two assists. Goaltender Colby Stagman* picked up the victory for the NorthStars giving up 0 goals.

Providing the offence for the Mustangs was Robin Cole*, Hubert Caron and Greg MacDonald each contributing with single markers. Goaltender Duane Arsenault* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Mustangs.

With the victory, the NorthStars improve to 1-0-0-0 while the Mustangs fall to 1-1-0-0.
