Calgary, AB – David Shepherd* scored his 12th goal of the season with 14:00 remaining in the second period and Matt Vanderkooy* scored four goals to fuel the Calgary Pylons to a 6-5 conquest over the Tailgaters at Father David Bauer on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Calgary Pylons was . Connor Pettem added three assists and Mark Jones* added two assists. Goaltender Aaron Johnston* picked up the win for the Calgary Pylons giving up 0 goals.

Sniping for the Tailgaters was Will Hotomanie* with two goals and R Bennett, Brady Laskowski and Ryan Jolly* each tallying single markers. Derek Sharp* added three assists. Goaltender Todd Bettison* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Tailgaters.

With the win, the Calgary Pylons improve to 16-13-1-0 while the Tailgaters fall to 4-25-1-0.
