Calgary, AB – Jordan Thornley* scored a hat-trick and added three assists to help lift the Buffaloes to an 8-1 pounding over the Slashers at Optimist on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Buffaloes was John Page* with two goals, Jay Booth* and Ben Chin* and Scott Watson* each with single strikes. Booth*, Ray Drake* and Jas Dhami* each added two assists. Goaltender Blaine Mackeil picked up the victory for the Buffaloes holding the Slashers to a single goal.

Scoring the only marker for the Slashers was and Delete Delete, his second of the season. Goaltender John Kilbride surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Slashers.

With the victory, the Buffaloes improve to 13-14-2-0 while the Slashers fall to 4-20-5-0.
