Calgary, AB – Barry Tanguay* scored two goals and added three assists to guide the Hopewell Hurricanes to a 10-6 throttling over the Devils at Optimist on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Tyler Jackson* with a hat-trick, Andy Keats* with two goals and Steve Nemeth*, Scott Bishop* and Geza Nemeth* chipping in with a goal each. Nemeth* added six assists, Bishop* and John Doyle* each added two assists. Goaltender Dave Garcia* picked up the win for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up 0 goals.

Cashing in for the Devils was Tony Vlastelic and Kent Kinashuk with a pair of goals each, Brad Ginet* and Marcus Hoover* each adding single tallies. Ginet* and Juan Buck each added two assists. Goaltender Jim Barath* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Devils.

The setback halted the Devils' six-game winning streak.

With the win, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 14-8-4-0 while the Devils fall to 18-8-1-0.
