Calgary, AB – Randy Mosher* scored five goals and added an assist to help secure the Schooners a victory in a 9-5 trouncing over the Hopewell Hurricanes at Optimist on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Schooners was Jamie Prior* with two goals, Nick Gill* and Reagan Tyson* chipping in with singles. Danny White* added five assists and Wade Snook added four assists. Goaltender Chris Seville picked up the victory for the Schooners giving up 0 goals.

The victory extinguished the Schooners' four-game losing streak.

Finding the back of the net for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Andy Keats*, Ross Keily*, Steve Nemeth*, Scott Carroll* and C Bruce each contributing with single markers. Scott Bishop* and Barry Tanguay* each added two assists. Goaltender Dave Garcia* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Hopewell Hurricanes.

With the victory, the Schooners improve to 12-10-3-0 while the Hopewell Hurricanes fall to 13-8-4-0.
