Calgary, AB – Steve Nemeth* scored a hat-trick and added two assists to help support the Hopewell Hurricanes in a 7-5 victory over the Flying Elbows at Frank McCool on Tuesday.

Adding markers for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Aaron Cowley* with two goals, Ross Keily* and Scott Carroll* with a goal each. Nemeth* and Cowley* each added two assists. Goaltender Dave Garcia* picked up the victory for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up 0 goals.

Providing the offence for the Flying Elbows was Chris Trudel*, Kyle Christensen*, Joe McCormick*, Mike Donaleshen* and Steve Nadeau* each contributing with single markers. Goaltender Allan Manz* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Flying Elbows.

With the victory, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 13-7-4-0 while the Flying Elbows fall to 13-8-3-0.
