Calgary, AB – Kirk Sproule* scored a hat-trick to help lift the Southern Alberta Bears to a 7-5 victory over the Da Byes at Father David Bauer on Saturday.

Also scoring for the Southern Alberta Bears was Adam Nerland with two goals, Tyler Yamashiro* and Craig Parkinson each with single strikes. Yamashiro* and Greg Rutherford* each added three assists and Daman Milsom added two assists. Goaltender Christian Chivilo* picked up the victory for the Southern Alberta Bears giving up 0 goals.

Scoring for the Da Byes was Deon Chappell* with two goals and Justin Furlong*, Jason Brown* and Adam Karpoff each adding single goals. Furlong* added two assists. Goaltender Brent Williams* surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Da Byes.

With the victory, the Southern Alberta Bears improve to 10-9-4-0 while the Da Byes fall to 13-5-4-0.
