Calgary, AB – Steve Nemeth* scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help bring the Hopewell Hurricanes to a 6-4 triumph over the Tailgaters at Optimist on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Geza Nemeth* with two goals and C Watson with a single marker. Nemeth* added three assists. Goaltender Dave Garcia* picked up the victory for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up 0 goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Tailgaters was Tristan Janusc* with two goals and Lance Nixon* and Chris Legrow* chipping in with singles. Janusc* and Nixon* each added two assists. Goaltender Kevin Mseraet surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Tailgaters.

With the victory, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 12-7-4-0 while the Tailgaters fall to 4-18-1-0.
