Calgary, AB – Kevin Free* scored two goals and added an assist to help fuel the Calgary Hogs to an 8-5 win over the Westside Wranglers at Optimist on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Calgary Hogs was Brandon Kushniruk* and Blaine Dobinson*, Chris Mills*, Ryan Grant*, Scott Lindsay* and Tyler Kushniruk* chipping in with a goal each. Kushniruk* added two assists. Goaltender Steve Tansowny* picked up the win for the Calgary Hogs giving up five goals.

Striking for the Westside Wranglers was Brad Hefflick* with two goals and Todd Horsman*, Rob Godfrey* and Clayton Carson* with a goal each. Jay Hamel* added three assists. Goaltender John Munro* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Westside Wranglers.

With the win, the Calgary Hogs improve to 15-2-3-0 while the Westside Wranglers fall to 10-10-1-0.
