Calgary, AB – Tyler Kushniruk* scored a hat-trick and added four assists to help support the Calgary Hogs in a 12-4 spanking over the Grasshoppers at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Calgary Hogs was Justin Rohr*, Chris Mills* and Kevin Free* with a pair of goals each, Brandon Kushniruk*, Mark Menzies* and Blaine Dobinson* with a goal each. Kushniruk* added four assists, Rohr* added three assists, Mills*, Kushniruk*, Menzies* and Tim Norick* each added two assists. Goaltender Steve Tansowny* picked up the victory for the Calgary Hogs giving up four goals.

Providing the offence for the Grasshoppers was Kevin Lodberg* with two goals and Cory Comeau and Ben Couzens each with single strikes. Kenton Haugrud* and Gord Edwards* each added two assists. Goaltender Trevor Devenich* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Grasshoppers.

With the victory, the Calgary Hogs improve to 14-1-2-0 while the Grasshoppers fall to 6-10-3-0.
