Jamieson tallies four, Icemen pummel Mets

Calgary, AB – Chris Jamieson scored four goals and added an assist to fuel the Icemen to a 10-5 thrashing over the Mets at Optimist on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Icemen was Gord MacLean with two goals, Sean Jozsa and Corbin Coyes, Greg Coonfer and Brian Patterson each tallying single markers. Travis Copp added three assists, MacLean, Jozsa and Scott MacLean each added two assists. Goaltender Jason Molloy picked up the win for the Icemen giving up 0 goals.

Sniping for the Mets was Steve Wilson* with two goals and Jason Lebbert*, Scott Cote* and Bill Melville* contributing with a goal each. Lebbert* and Chris Daskas* each added two assists. Goaltender Matt Elder* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Mets.

The loss snuffed out the Mets' three-game winning streak.

With the win, the Icemen improve to 8-10-0-0 while the Mets fall to 9-6-3-0.
