Calgary, AB – Doug Howland* scored two goals and added an assist as the Icecats extended its winning streak to three games with a 9-2 route over the Mustangs at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Icecats was Shawn Morgan* and John Helfrich* with a pair of goals each, Nik Cooper*, Mark Sproxton* and Denis Nadeau* each contributing with single markers. Vance Alexander* added three assists, Cooper* and Rob Walker* each added two assists. Goaltender Larry Guilloux* picked up the victory for the Icecats giving up 0 goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Mustangs was Jeff Holzman* and Brent Phelps* chipping in with singles. Goaltender Duane Arsenault* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Mustangs.

With the victory, the Icecats improve to 3-0-0-0 while the Mustangs fall to 1-2-0-0.
