Brown nets hat-trick, Pylons route Slashers

Calgary, AB – Justin Brown scored a hat-trick as the Pylons extended its winning streak to three games with a 9-5 throttling over the Slashers at Max Bell #1 on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Pylons was Nolan Single with two goals, Matt Price* and Mark Hashem, Blayne Single and Nelson Winia* chipping in with a goal each. Kurt Goodjohn and Aarron Prait each added three assists. Goaltender Ray King* picked up the win for the Pylons giving up 0 goals.

Cashing in for the Slashers was Tomek Bielski* with two goals and Mike Belanger*, Kyle Mack* and Chris Roa-Yaremkowycz* each adding single tallies. Belanger* added three assists and Mack* added two assists. Goaltender Kyle Kuzek* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Slashers.

With the win, the Pylons improve to 3-8-2-0 while the Slashers fall to 1-8-4-0.
