Calgary, AB – Greg MacDonald scored two goals to spark the Mustangs to a 7-4 win over the Buffaloes at Village Square on Saturday.

Also scoring for the Mustangs was Brent Phelps* with two goals and Jason Mabbot, Hubert Caron and Cody May each adding single goals. Mabbot, Caron, Matt Cook* and Darryl MacDonald* each added two assists. Goaltender Duane Arsenault* picked up the victory for the Mustangs giving up 0 goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Buffaloes was Jordan Thornley* with a hat-trick and Ray Drake* with a single marker. Gabe Fortin* added three assists, Matt Freeman* and Chris Gager* each added two assists. Goaltender Blaine Mackeil surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Buffaloes.

With the victory, the Mustangs improve to 5-5-3-0 while the Buffaloes fall to 6-7-0-0.
