Calgary, AB – Ray Drake* scored two goals and added an assist to help lift the Buffaloes to a 7-2 pounding over the Icemen at George Blundun on Saturday.

Also scoring for the Buffaloes was Matt Acker* and Dillon Swords-Beales*, Blaine Wiseman*, John Page* and Ben Chin* each adding single goals. Gabe Fortin* and Jay Booth* each added two assists. Goaltender Blaine Mackeil picked up the victory for the Buffaloes giving up 0 goals.

The victory extinguished the Buffaloes' three-game losing streak.

Scoring for the Icemen was Brian Patterson and Gord MacLean each with single strikes. John Givens added two assists. Goaltender Jason Molloy surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Icemen.

With the victory, the Buffaloes improve to 6-3-0-0 while the Icemen fall to 4-6-0-0.
