Calgary, AB – Aaron Cowley* scored two goals and added three assists as the Hopewell Hurricanes extended its winning streak to three games with a 9-2 pummeling over the Tailgaters at Max Bell #1 on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Scott Bishop* and John Doyle*, Barry Tanguay*, Mike Nerbas*, Tyler Jackson*, Steve Nemeth* and Martin Carter* each adding a goal. Geza Nemeth* added four assists, Bishop*. Goaltender Karri Humble* picked up the victory for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up 0 goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Tailgaters was Derek Sharp* and Tristan Janusc* each adding single goals. Goaltender Todd Bettison* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Tailgaters.

With the victory, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 4-2-3-0 while the Tailgaters fall to 2-7-0-0.
