Calgary, AB – Kris Eacrett scored two goals to help lift the Mustangs to a 6-4 victory over the Icemen at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Mustangs was Jeff Zimmer and Brent Phelps*, Rhett Pickering* and Brett Guenther* each with single strikes. Jason Mabbot added three assists, Zimmer and Hubert Caron each added two assists. Goaltender Duane Arsenault* picked up the victory for the Mustangs giving up 0 goals.

Scoring for the Icemen was Gord MacLean, Corbin Coyes, Sean Jozsa and Kevin Yacychyn with a goal each. Jason Molloy added two assists. Goaltender Jason Molloy surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Icemen.

With the victory, the Mustangs improve to 2-2-1-0 while the Icemen fall to 1-4-0-0.
