Calgary, AB – Connor Coates* scored a hat-trick and added an assist to guide the Devils to a 6-4 conquest over the Tailgaters at Father David Bauer on Wednesday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Devils was Eric Monteith* and Dustin Honing and Dan Rach* chipping in with a goal each. Dave Brewin* added two assists. Goaltender Jim Barath* picked up the win for the Devils giving up 0 goals.

Cashing in for the Tailgaters was Will Hotomanie* with two goals and Jeff Toth* and Gary Wotton* each adding single tallies. Ashley Johnson* added two assists. Goaltender Todd Bettison* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Tailgaters.

With the win, the Devils improve to 1-1-1-0 while the Tailgaters fall to 0-3-0-0.
