Calgary, AB – B Wasylyk scored a hat-trick to lift the Hopewell Hurricanes to a 6-4 conquest over the Tailgaters at Stew Hendry on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Scott Bishop* and Andy Keats* and Mike Nerbas* each tallying single markers. Bishop* added three assists and Jason Downey* added two assists. Goaltender Karri Humble* picked up the win for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up 0 goals.

Sniping for the Tailgaters was Derek Sharp* with two goals and Tristan Janusc* and Jeff Toth* contributing with a goal each. Goaltender Todd Bettison* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Tailgaters.

With the win, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 1-0-1-0 while the Tailgaters fall to 0-2-0-0.
