Calgary, AB – Tim Cross* scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help secure the Pirates a victory in a 6-4 victory over the Aduro IceCats at Max Bell #2 on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Pirates was Gary Smyth* with two goals and Nate Roberts* with a single marker. Smyth* added three assists, Roberts* and Scott Atkinson* each added two assists. Goaltender Rick Windl* picked up the victory for the Pirates giving up four goals.

Providing the offence for the Aduro IceCats was Kirk Hildebrand* with two goals and Nik Cooper* and Rob Walker* with a goal each. Sean Green added three assists and Cooper* added two assists. Goaltender Larry Guilloux* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Aduro IceCats.

With the victory, the Pirates improve to 1-0-0-0 while the Aduro IceCats fall to 0-1-0-0.
