Calgary, AB – Pete Zolotas* scored his first goal of the season with 2:50 remaining in the second period and Gus Morfessis* scored two goals to help bring the Pylons to a 5-4 triumph over the Mustangs at Stew Hendry on Friday.

Completing the scoring for for the Pylons was Derek Loomer*, Kendall Pickett* chipping in with singles. Derek Riewe* added three assists and Loomer* added two assists. Goaltender Ray King* picked up the victory for the Pylons giving up 0 goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Mustangs was Jeff Holzman*, Jim Pendergast*, Jeff Campbell* and Steve Scott* chipping in with a goal each. Garrett Goodbrand* added two assists. Goaltender Duane Arsenault* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Mustangs.

With the victory, the Pylons improve to 1-0-0-0 while the Mustangs fall to 0-1-0-0.
