Calgary, AB – Deon Chappell* scored a hat-trick to help the Da Byes to a 10-4 spanking over the Chiefs at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Da Byes was Brad Taylor* with two goals, Justin Furlong* and Chris Avery*, Jason Smith*, Kyle Brennan* and Kevin Draper* each adding a goal. Furlong*, Blair Neil*, Chris Pascoa* and Glenn Saunders* each added two assists. Goaltender Brent Williams* picked up the win for the Da Byes giving up four goals.

Striking for the Chiefs was Karl Johanson with two goals and Bruce Gillis and Justin Wetsch with a goal each. Terry Gulewich and Rick Schiller each added two assists. Goaltender Dan Oxton surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Chiefs.

With the win, the Da Byes improve to 17-7-4-0 while the Chiefs fall to 3-24-2-0.
