Calgary, AB – Cory Balint* scored two goals and added an assist for The Swarm and Gary Smyth* scored a hat-trick and added an assist for the Pirates as the teams played to a 5-5 tie at George Blundun on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Pirates was Owen Mimerson with two goals. Joe Curts* and Nate Roberts* each added two assists. Goaltender Rick Windl* surrendered five goals in the tie for the Pirates.

Completing the scoring for for The Swarm was Kevin Stinson*, Brad Dougherty* and Chris Kravinchuk* chipping in with singles. Jim Vasilopoulos* and Steve Kelly each added two assists. Goaltender David Feke* gave up 0 goals in the tie for The Swarm.

After the tie, The Swarm have a record of 18-6-4-0 while the Pirates move to 18-8-3-0.
