Trail nets hat-trick, Pylons mount comeback to conquer Sabres

Calgary, AB – Tyson Trail scored a hat-trick and added four assists to help the Pylons erased a three-goal deficit and to a 12-10 win over the Sabres at Village Square on Saturday.

Also scoring for the Pylons was Donald Tse with a hat-trick, Justin Symes* with a hat-trick, Matt Price* and Jordan Bernard* and Gus Morfessis* each adding a goal. Tse added three assists, Symes* added two assists. Goaltender Ray King* picked up the win for the Pylons giving up 0 goals.

Striking for the Sabres was Ryan Young* with four strikes, Chris Wilkins* with a hat-trick, Kevin Macedo* with two goals and Jay Milz* with a single tally. Wilkins*, Sean Waeyen*, Patrick ORourke* and Ryan Gamble each added two assists. Goaltender K Carlson surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Sabres.

The Sabres jumped out to a 4-1 lead when Wilkins* scored his ninth of the season with 8:36 left in the first period but Tse responded for the Pylons with his fourth of the season to start the rally.

With the win, the Pylons improve to 3-23-0-0 while the Sabres fall to 12-11-3-0.
