Calgary, AB – Ryan Martin* scored a hat-trick and added two assists to guide the Mets to a 10-5 throttling over the Icemen at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Mets was Todd Noble* with a hat-trick, Ed Melville* with two goals, Cam Sylven* and Cam Kraychy* each adding single tallies. Sylven* added five assists, Tim Hodge added four assists, Melville* added three assists, Martin* and Chris Daskas* each added two assists. Goaltender Matt Elder* picked up the win for the Mets giving up 0 goals.

Cashing in for the Icemen was Kevin Yacychyn with a hat-trick and Gord MacLean and Brian Patterson chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Jason Molloy surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Icemen.

With the win, the Mets improve to 12-13-0-0 while the Icemen fall to 7-16-2-0.
