Calgary, AB – Wally Fizer scored his first goal of the playoffs with 0:09 remaining in the third period and Jason McDonald scored two goals and added two assists to lift the BDR Angers to a 6-5 conquest over the Icemen at Father David Bauer on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the BDR Angers was Jon Steranko with two goals and Marty Holzinger with a single marker. Holzinger added three assists. Goaltender Marcello Leonardis picked up the win for the BDR Angers giving up 0 goals.

Sniping for the Icemen was Garnet Horne, Scott MacLean, Craig McGee, Sean Jozsa and Gord MacLean each tallying single markers. Greg Coonfer added two assists. Goaltender Travis Copp surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Icemen.

With the win, the BDR Angers improve to 3-1-0-0 while the Icemen fall to 2-2-0-0.
