Calgary, AB – Trevor Burke * scored five goals to help the Sofa Kings to an 11-5 spanking over the Flying Hellfish at George Blundun on Saturday.

Also scoring for the Sofa Kings was Rob Johnston * with a hat-trick, Travis Rudy * and Chris Murphy * and Mike Charron * each adding a goal. Eric Mann * added seven assists, Rudy * and Gord Matheson * each added four assists and Brent Batushski * added two assists. Goaltender Dan Oxton picked up the win for the Sofa Kings giving up 0 goals.

The win snapped the Sofa Kings' three-game losing skid.

Striking for the Flying Hellfish was Scott Hutchinson* with two goals and Vince Niro*, Jay Steele* and Travis Rowden* with a goal each. Steele*, Niro* and Jeff Wareham* each added two assists. Goaltender Cam Corbett* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Flying Hellfish.

With the win, the Sofa Kings improve to 7-11-1-0 while the Flying Hellfish fall to 3-15-1-0.
