Calgary, AB – Jeremy Salomons * scored two goals to help bring the Sofa Kings to a 5-3 triumph over the Grasshoppers at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Sofa Kings was Rob Johnston * and Travis Rudy * and Chris Murphy * chipping in with singles. Johnston * added two assists. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm * picked up the victory for the Sofa Kings giving up three goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Grasshoppers was Duane Smith* with two goals and Kyle Smith* ( A) with a single marker. Kenton Haugrud* added two assists. Goaltender Trevor Devenich* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Grasshoppers.

With the victory, the Sofa Kings improve to 6-8-1-0 while the Grasshoppers fall to 6-8-1-0.
