Calgary, AB – Jon Steranko scored a hat-trick and added three assists to help lift the BDR Angers to an 8-3 pounding over the St. Vladimir�s at George Blundun on Saturday.

Adding markers for the BDR Angers was Jason McDonald with a hat-trick, Chris Morrison and Darryl Wilson with a goal each. Steranko added three assists and Chris McDavid added two assists. Goaltender Marcello Leonardis picked up the victory for the BDR Angers giving up 0 goals.

Scoring for the St. Vladimir�s was Ralph Tigner, Arthur Boykiw and Mark Leier each with single strikes. Chris Roa-Yaremkowycz added two assists. Goaltender Dave Ewanchyna surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the St. Vladimir�s.

With the victory, the BDR Angers improve to 1-0-0-0 while the St. Vladimir�s fall to 0-1-0-0.
