Calgary, AB – Reg Patterson* scored five goals to help secure the Mocoat Thunder a victory in a 7-5 triumph over the Tailgaters at Optimist on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Mocoat Thunder was Dale Martin* and Adam Quigley* chipping in with singles. Kevin Brown added three assists, Martin*, Darren Jones* and Greg Varga* each added two assists. Goaltender Leo Thoms* picked up the victory for the Mocoat Thunder giving up five goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Tailgaters was Dustin Honing with two goals and Kent Pozzo, Derek Sharp* and Tracey Durand* each contributing with single markers. Honing, Pozzo and Sharp* each added two assists. Goaltender Dave Ellement surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Tailgaters.

With the victory, the Mocoat Thunder improve to 7-4-2-0 while the Tailgaters fall to 4-7-2-0.
