Bosch* scores twice, Southern Alberta Bears rally to throttle Chiefs
Calgary, AB – Bravin Bosch* scored two goals and added two assists to help lift the Southern Alberta Bears erased a three-goal deficit and to an 11-5 pounding over the Chiefs at Stew Hendry on Sunday.
Also scoring for the Southern Alberta Bears was Kirk Sproule* and Kyle Morton* with a pair of goals each, Tyler Yamashiro*, Brent Gibson*, Carl Knudsen*, Adam Forbes-King* and Troy Miller* each with single strikes. Jason Driedger* added four assists, Yamashiro*, Knudsen*, Gibson*. Goaltender Christian Chivilo* picked up the victory for the Southern Alberta Bears giving up 0 goals.
Scoring for the Chiefs was Karl Johanson with two goals and Darren McCutcheon, Bruce Gillis and Justin Wetsch each adding single goals. Goaltender Jon MacMillan surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Chiefs.
The Chiefs jumped out to a 4-1 lead when Wetsch scored his fourth of the season with 9:02 left in the first period but Sproule* responded for the Southern Alberta Bears with his ninth of the season to start the rally.
With the victory, the Southern Alberta Bears improve to 5-6-2-0 while the Chiefs fall to 2-10-1-0.
