Calgary, AB – Ross Keily* scored two goals and added an assist to fuel the Hopewell Hurricanes to an 8-4 thrashing over the Devils at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Andy Keats* with two goals and Barry Tanguay*, Steve Nemeth*, Scott Bishop* and Mike Nerbas* each tallying single markers. Tanguay* added four assists, Nemeth*, Tyler Jackson*, Preston Yachimec* and Aaron Cowley* each added two assists. Goaltender Martin Szomolanki picked up the win for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up four goals.

Finding the twine for the Devils was Brad Ginet* with two goals and Dave Harman* and Ben Weber* chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Jim Barath* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Devils.

With the win, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 9-2-0-0 while the Devils fall to 1-10-0-0.
