Calgary, AB – Pete Zolotas scored two goals and added two assists to fuel the Pylons to an 8-4 thrashing over the Mustangs at George Blundun on Thursday.

Capping off the scoring for the Pylons was Gus Morfessis and Derek Loomer with a pair of goals each, Mike Collens and Murray Irving each tallying single markers. Collens added four assists, Chris Sotiropoulos added three assists, Zolotas and Morfessis each added two assists. Goaltender Ray King picked up the win for the Pylons giving up 0 goals.

Sniping for the Mustangs was Garrett Goodbrand with two goals and Matt Cook and Jim Pendergast contributing with a goal each. Goaltender Duane Arsenault surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Mustangs.

With the win, the Pylons improve to 2-1-0-0 while the Mustangs fall to 1-2-0-0.
