Calgary, AB – Steve Stowe scored his first goal of the playoffs with 3:28 remaining in the second period and Todd McAleese scored a goal and added an assist to help fuel the Icehogs to a 5-4 conquest over the Pylons at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Icehogs was Dave White, Rob Lamothe, Mike Tanton each adding single tallies. Derrick Moore added three assists. Goaltender Jody Stevens picked up the win for the Icehogs giving up four goals.

Cashing in for the Pylons was Dan Tall with a hat-trick and Tim Connolly with a single marker. Pete Zolotas and Derek Loomer each added two assists. Goaltender Ray King surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Pylons.

With the win, the Icehogs improve to 1-0-0-0 while the Pylons fall to 1-1-0-0.
