Calgary, AB – Gord MacLean scored two goals and added two assists to guide the Icemen to a 9-4 throttling over the Mets at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Icemen was Darcy Frey and Brian Patterson with a pair of goals each, John Givens, Corbin Coyes and Chad Coyes each adding single tallies. MacLean, Givens, Coyes, Geoff Thio and Greg Coonfer each added two assists. Goaltender Jason Molloy picked up the win for the Icemen giving up 0 goals.

Cashing in for the Mets was Peter Casey* with two goals and Ryan Martin* and Jason Lebbert* chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Mark Watson surrendered nine goals in the loss for the Mets.

With the win, the Icemen improve to 1-2-1-0 while the Mets fall to 2-2-0-0.
