Calgary, AB – Lance Nixon scored his 23rd goal of the season with 2:03 remaining in the second period and Greg Rieben scored two goals and added an assist as the Predators extended their winning streak to three games with a 5-4 conquest over the Wolves at George Blundun on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Predators was and Carlo Nicastro with a single tally. Nicastro added three assists and Chad Taylor added two assists. Goaltender Paul Chatten picked up the win for the Predators giving up 0 goals.

Cashing in for the Wolves was Mike Scase with two goals and Ryan Bennato and Gred Bessey chipping in with a goal each. Brent Conrad added two assists. Goaltender Chad McCrady surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Wolves.

With the win, the Predators improve to 16-11-4-0 while the Wolves fall to 18-10-4-0.
