Calgary, AB – Brad Vescarelli scored two goals including his second goal of the season with 1:40 remaining in the third period and and added an assist to help bring the Fat n Lazy to a 7-6 triumph over the Cyclones at Stew Hendry on Wednesday.

Completing the scoring for for the Fat n Lazy was Andy LaRose with two goals and Lee Francoeur, Spencer Pettit and Paul Taylor each contributing with single markers. Colin Baustad and Troy Stephenson each added two assists. Goaltender Chris Churchill picked up the victory for the Fat n Lazy giving up 0 goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Cyclones was Ryan Toovey with a hat-trick, Shawn Bornais with two goals and Rob Nagle with a single tally. Jesse Prochera and Gerry Heck each added two assists. Goaltender Rick Hoyt surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Cyclones.

With the victory, the Fat n Lazy improve to 1-0-0-0 while the Cyclones fall to 0-1-0-0.
