Calgary, AB – Scott Lindsay scored a hat-trick as the Icehogs extended its winning streak to seven games with a 10-3 pounding over the Icecats at Frank McCool on Tuesday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Icehogs was Shaun Wyzykoski and Cam Mackee with a pair of goals each and Todd McAleese, Chris Kemp and Shawn Foster chipping in with a goal each. McAleese and Kevin Free each added three assists, Wyzykoski, Foster, Kemp, Dave White and Don Campbell each added two assists. Goaltender Jody Stevens picked up the win for the Icehogs giving up three goals.

Striking for the Icecats was Owen Bugby, Shawn Morgan and Cam Fink with a goal each. Rob Walker added three assists. Goaltender Larry Guilloux surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Icecats.

The setback halted the Icecats' four-game winning streak.

With the win, the Icehogs improve to 28-1-2-0 while the Icecats fall to 18-10-3-0.
