Winklemann strikes twice, Met�s whip Divestco Knights
Calgary, AB – Perry Winklemann scored two goals and added two assists to guide the Met�s to an 8-3 throttling over the Divestco Knights at Optimist on Saturday.
Rounding out the scoring for the Met�s was Scott Cote with two goals and Chad Froese, E. Melville, Mike Gillis and Mark Lyle chipping in with a goal each. Froese, Todd Noble and Chris Daskas each added three assists, Melville. Goaltender Matt Elder picked up the win for the Met�s giving up 0 goals.
Cashing in for the Divestco Knights was Dave Wardlaw with two goals and Howard Brekke with a single tally. Goaltender Saul MacPherson surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Divestco Knights.
With the win, the Met�s improve to 23-4-3-0 while the Divestco Knights fall to 18-10-2-0.
