Calgary, AB – Matt Cook* scored two goals and added an assist to guide the Mustangs to a 7-4 conquest over the Buffaloes at Village Square on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Mustangs was Bryan Lukeman with two goals and Chris Ryan*, Rhett Pickering* and Brent Phelps* chipping in with a goal each. Mike McHenry added three assists and Ryan* added two assists. Goaltender JF Voyer* picked up the win for the Mustangs giving up four goals.

Cashing in for the Buffaloes was Jason Hans* with two goals and Mark Hardy* and Dan Benwood* each adding single tallies. John Page* added two assists. Goaltender Mark Hardy* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Buffaloes.

With the win, the Mustangs improve to 1-0-0-0 while the Buffaloes fall to 0-1-0-0.
