Calgary, AB – Justin Rohr* scored a hat-trick and added three assists to spark the Calgary Hogs to an 11-4 pummeling over the Pirates at Optimist on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Calgary Hogs was Stephen Wightman* with two goals, Justin Morgan* and Chris Martini*, Dean Pylypchuk*, Todd McAleese*, Blaine Dobinson* and Don Campbell* each adding single goals. Rohr*, Martini*, Morgan* and Ryan Grant* each added three assists and Brent Gosselin* added two assists. Goaltender Steve Tansowny* picked up the victory for the Calgary Hogs giving up four goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Pirates was Tim Cross* with two goals and Nate Roberts* and Darryl Lewis* each adding a goal. Mike Clowes added three assists. Goaltender Rick Windl* surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the Pirates.

With the victory, the Calgary Hogs improve to 18-7-2-0 while the Pirates fall to 9-19-1-0.
