Calgary, AB – Ryan Martin* scored five goals and added three assists to help fuel the Mets to an 11-4 pounding over the Grasshoppers at Norma Bush on Tuesday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Mets was Jason Lebbert* with a hat-trick, Scott Cote* and John Pietrovito* and Cam Sylvan with a goal each. Lebbert*, Chris Daskas* and Cam Kraychy* each added four assists, Martin* added three assists, Cote*, Pietrovito* and Arne Larson* each added two assists. Goaltender Matt Elder* picked up the win for the Mets giving up 0 goals.

Striking for the Grasshoppers was Kevin Lodberg* and Kyle Smith* with a pair of goals each. Goaltender Darryl Leray* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Grasshoppers.

With the win, the Mets improve to 10-14-4-0 while the Grasshoppers fall to 14-8-6-0.
