Calgary, AB – M O'Connell scored a hat-trick to help fuel the Flying Hellfish to an 8-5 win over the Aduro IceCats at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Flying Hellfish was Travis Rowden* with two goals, Curtis Cann* and Scott Bracko* and Grant McGowan* with a goal each. Ryan Hoover* added four assists, Rowden* and Vince Niro* each added three assists. Goaltender Trevor Devenich picked up the win for the Flying Hellfish giving up 0 goals.

The victory extinguished the Flying Hellfish's three-game losing streak.

Striking for the Aduro IceCats was Nik Cooper* with a hat-trick and Colin Dyck* with two goals. Cooper* and Reggie Lang* each added two assists. Goaltender Larry Guilloux* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Aduro IceCats.

The loss snuffed out the Aduro IceCats' four-game winning streak.

With the win, the Flying Hellfish improve to 12-14-3-0 while the Aduro IceCats fall to 11-10-8-0.
