Calgary, AB – Jason Smith* scored a hat-trick as the Da Byes extended its winning streak to 15 games with a 10-3 route over the Pirates at Norma Bush on Tuesday.

Completing the scoring for for the Da Byes was Brad Taylor* and Brandon MacDonnell*, Cody Steel*, Geoff Moggy*, Kevin Draper*, Glenn Saunders* and Rob Dias* chipping in with singles. Taylor* added three assists, MacDonnell*, Steel* and Justin Furlong* each added two assists. Goaltender Brent Williams* picked up the victory for the Da Byes giving up three goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Pirates was Gary Smyth* with two goals and Kevin Wall* with a single marker. Nate Roberts* added two assists. Goaltender Rick Windl* surrendered 10 goals in the loss for the Pirates.

With the victory, the Da Byes improve to 22-2-0-0 while the Pirates fall to 8-18-1-0.
