Calgary, AB – Trevor Burke scored a hat-trick and added an assist to lift the Tailgaters erased a three-goal deficit and to a 7-5 conquest over the Flying Elbows at Frank McCool on Tuesday.

Capping off the scoring for the Tailgaters was Ashley Johnson* with two goals, Chuck Critchley* and Lance Nixon* contributing with a goal each. Tracy Durand* added three assists, Critchley* and Austin Morey* each added two assists. Goaltender Todd Bettison* picked up the win for the Tailgaters giving up 0 goals.

Sniping for the Flying Elbows was Steve Tuckey*, Andrew Killick*, Dany Noel*, Colin Oke* and Matt Glowa* each tallying single markers. Chris Trudel* and Steve Nadeau* each added two assists. Goaltender Allan Manz* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Flying Elbows.

The Flying Elbows jumped out to a 3-0 lead when Killick* scored his fourth of the season with 10:53 left in the first period but Nixon* responded for the Tailgaters with his 14th of the season to start the rally.

With the win, the Tailgaters improve to 13-9-5-0 while the Flying Elbows fall to 15-11-1-0.
